Bow dmg should just increase the dmg of arrows rather than the other way around, that way they can have it add bonus concussive damage, would make more sense.
I’ve always questioned the notion of hitting someone in the temple with a steel ball on an arrow as a way of knocking them out as opposed to killing them with any accuracy…

True, but their survival chances are probably at least somewhat better than with five kilos of steel sword through the torso!
Incidentally I just learned from this thread that blunted arrows is a thing… oh well!
