Note that I do not endorse building bridges on Official Servers as they are usually considered an abuse of the claim system, according to the Land Claim Abuse rules. Having said that, you can build some awesome bridges with this.
Using the Stormglass Large Strut from the Stormglass Sanctum Set (Bazaar DLC) you can increase building stability. This was made while having the Structural Integrity perk:
Normally with the perk you can only go as far as 6 ceilings. Using the struts in this exact placement this can be extended up to 12. Do the same on the other side and you can span across 24 tiles (you will have to build across on the floor first, though, to find the correct starting spot on the other side).
In stability numbers, with only 6 ceilings they go from 85-70-55-40-25-10. With this trick the stability on the ceilings goes from 85-85-85-70-55-55-55-40-25-25-25-10.
Also, the strut allows for ugly infinite unsupported stairs (repeat foundation-strut-ceiling-foundation). They are not very handy stairs as you can’t walk up them normally.
