Boss from Dregs animation not in sync with his actual actions

Game mode: [Online] - Private Server, but confirmed this on multiple servers.

I am having some difficulties with the boss in the Dregs. It seems that the animations that he displays are not in sync with what or perhaps when he is actually doing anything.

This usually occurs from the first time he dives.

What happens most of the times is that he dives down and then I get hit by an invisible object. After my character stands up I actually see the boss jumping on land. This is rather annoying because it is quite difficult to time my dodges based on something I cannot see.

This has been happening every time I face him and for quite some time now. I am not sure if you were aware of this issue, but I hope you can find a way to resolve it.

If any additional information is required please let me know. Since I am the server admin I can also look into the logs if need be.


Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Go into the Dregs.
  2. Work your way to the boss’s chamber.
  3. Start the fight.
  4. The issue should appear the first, or at least fairly short after he dives a few times.

Do not use shields (not sure about bows) and boss should stay synced

Also, this bug is as old as game itself probably :smiley:

Agreed the bug is in the game for quite some time now, but not using shields is not the solution of course.

I do not really mind using it as a workaround for now, but it is really important that this will get fixed eventually.
