Repairing weapons/tools/armour with a stack of 13 or fewer bars in inventory will consume all 13 bars, even if the item is only slightly damaged.
A Steel or Iron pick will be used for the purposes of this example, although as mentioned above, this bug applies to all weapons/armour/tools and all material types.
Of course, this is avoided easily enough by ensuring that you never have fewer than 13 bars. However, it can be an issue if you’re unaware of the issue, as well as expensive with high quality materials.
Example: A fully broken pick will consume 15 bars when repairing. A pick which has been swung once will consume all bars if the stack has 13 or fewer bars remaining.
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
- Equip a pick with full durability, or a slightly damaged pick. One swing at a rock should be sufficient. Ensure that you only have 13 or fewer bars in inventory.
- Repair the pick. All 13 bars will be consumed, regardless of the state of disrepair.
