Bug Description:

One of the most bizzarre bugs i ever seen a dead fricking cat betrays its owner and gets him killed.
The first video while is not a bug it provides context of what happens:
2 Players are raiding another, the defender manages to trap a thrall but due to the cat it allows the enemies to enter, the attacker gets trapped but the cat continues to open the door so he manages to get away.
in video number 2 is the actual bug
The cat is supposed to be on the floor knocked out
But Not only he continues to move but he also keeps opening the door.
As you can see in the title the footage was taken on march 27/25 right after the march update.

Since the latest patch, pets (which could never open doors and gates before) can now open doors and gates. The good news is that if you disable thrall use on the door, it disables pet use as well.

I think this is limited to decorative pets - cats, rats, bunnies - rather than proper combat pets. However, it seems to be a mistake to give these the same logic as crafters.

That wasn’t my experience - I had to completely disable Living Settlements (singleplayer) to get them to stop opening doors.

This looks similar to when the purge is active, thralls will be in DBNO (dead) but will still move, fight, etc.,…

My suspicions are that when there are so many things happening the game has a hard time to keep up with it, if that makes sense?

well i can confirm that this happen with most “dead” thralls/horses/pets.

some of them still follow people even when they are supposed to be on the floor.
seems like that while raiding a base the IA goes particulary stupid.
