Don’t know if it’s related to last patches but I never had such issue when building large structures.
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
Prepare a 10x11 or larger base of funfaments(black ice)
Try to place animal pen on it. Become crazy for half an hour then destroy everything and turn off ps4.
Prepare a 5x5 or larger fundament base made of whatever you want.
Try to put jebbal temple on it, try for half an hour, destroy everything and turn off ps4.
Result is that I wasted hours of farming (plus 1 hour trying to place buildings) and resources to get nothing. The most difficult challenge in the game are the developer that makes even the simple thing the hardest to do. Thanks!
Hi @liquidand, were you using only square foundations or also triangular ones?
Was there any ceiling present, or surrounding pillars?
If so, it might be best to temporarily remove thesefor the sake of placing down large structures.
We’d also suggest that you try using the raise/lower option to adjust the large placeable, as well as trying to tilt it slightly, as this usually helps finding a snapping point.
We’ll also send note to the team regarding the issue.
No triangle, only square foundation and nothing else, no pillars, no ceilings, only large square fundament (2 or 3 levels). I tried with triangle to raise/lower the placeable, but it goes from overlapping with something to not enough contact. Before the may patch I was able to place everything without issues. Want to add one more thing: I can place animal pen and temples without issues on roofs but not on fundaments
