Building issues- Watcher of the Passage

I’ve recently encountered a few building issues at the Watcher of the Passage. It seems there is a no build area that blocks the building of square foundations. I encountered this while trying to build the arena stairs connected to a few of my foundation blocks. Note, there are no foundations underneath that would be blocking placement. I’ve tested with several building blocks, and it seems that wedges, pillars, ramps, and stairs (except for the arena pieces) can be placed just fine, but the square foundations and arena stairs are blocked.

The area above can be built in just fine, but below is getting the invalid building location on the square foundation pieces. This is happening to the entire central area under the ruins, and has persisted through server reset.

Bumping this because this issue is still happening for me. I even had an admin ghost under and double check that there was nothing blocking my building. I am still unable to place square foundations and arena stairs, but wedges/pillars can be placed.

Is this an intended feature? I can see no reason why I can’t place the square foundations and have never encountered this issue before.

We’ll poke the developers about this issue as it’s likely unintended, although there’s a chance it might be a side-effect of certain measures taken to prevent undermesh exploits.

Are you aware if you were able to build in that area before one of the latest updates?

I am not aware. The weird thing is that you can build, using wedge pieces and pillars. However, the square pieces can’t be built there. The only area affected is the center grassy area, you can build above just fine.
