Building materials disappeared

On our server, not only me but also some players have lost materials from chests (not all of them), but I know for sure that they were also there from workbenches, in particular, hardened brick, steel frame, iron frame, carved wood, and so on. This happened yesterday, restarting the server, and everything else did not help.

What type of server?
It is private if you restart it yourself, but is it PvE, PvP, ect?
Do you share the server with anyone other than your clan?
Any notes in the Event log of unauthorized access or even someone in the clan moving it and forgetting?

You are on Official PvP server
But you restart the server?

That is a bit odd.

There was no record in the Event Log of unauthorized access?
Currently it is very easy to rob from other players with the thralls opening doors.

no, everything is clean, the server restarts every day, there is nothing in the log to loot chests, you will have to blow up a lot)

Ayesh, this one hates it for you.
This one has Also noted that enhancements (master weapon fitting) are being removed from weapons when they are taken from a follower into the players inventory. So it’s not just unattended items in chests and stations that are disappearing.

Welcome to the forum fellow exile. I noticed that your topic detail says pc. So if you are on pc, unfortunately 3rd programs exist, for someone to empty your chests and your event log stays empty . It’s very difficult without event log to prove something or to submit a ticket on Zendesk.

No you’re not, over the years many complaints like yours landed here, even from pve servers.
I am sorry you’re going through these sh.it.
If you were playing on PlayStation i would jump to your server to help you recover.

Sorry to read this.

These days many servers are under attack of group of cheaters and hackers, many of us already reported Blue Ranger TM player, whom someone managed to record with his cheating techniques.

The problem is that if you don’t have a direct proof, like the recording, you will only get back some answer about clarification. I’ve sent them the YT video, but without success as it seems.

I doubt that in my case it was a cheat, everything remained in the other chests, they were together, there were more valuable things, and building materials were in the other chests, but only what was in one was missing.

The hackers and cheaters are on a mad bender right now. I don’t know this - but I assume that they might have gotten insider knowledge that Zendesk is low on staff since it’s Thanksgiving week in US. Or - perhaps they are not staffed at all. And as such, it’s carte blanche for anyone who wants to freely abuse the game.

It sounds like you were hacked. And the only means of rectifying that is to open a Zendesk ticket. Good luck getting an answer back from them any time soon, though.

I regret to be the bearer of bad news, but hack users can take whatever they want and eliminate all minions without anything appearing in the log records. Usually, they don’t take everything at once to avoid drawing attention. Rest assured: you can farm for hours, and when you have something they’re interested in, they’ll come for it. And if you complain, they’ll take everything.

Submitting a ticket won’t help, as you won’t get a response. If you create topics on the forum, they won’t be answered by moderators either; they will just close the thread. They don’t even wait for the seven days stipulated after the last interaction. Moderators seem more concerned with engaging in trivial discussions over minor translation errors — perhaps as an attempt to bury topics about hacks with irrelevant debates.

I remember the golden era of Dofus, when the community manager, Lyafar, did an outstanding job keeping the community united, bringing important issues to the developers, and actively demanding responses. One day, Lyafar was invited to manage the community of another game, League of Legends, and many Dofus players followed him. Today, Dofus is just a shadow of what it once was, while everyone knows the success of LoL.
