I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience to mine before making any kind of bug report because I’m not positive on what’s causing this to happen.
I’ve been crafting a large number of black ice building pieces since the patch in which the black ice cost got increased, and there’s been a few occasions where I could swear that I was missing a bunch after crafting them. Tonight I confirmed for sure that it is happening. I got on to work on my base, so I took out all of my pre-made pieces, which included roughly 3 stacks of fence foundations. Plus a ton of black ice, steel reinfs, and insulated wood to make more. I que’d up about 700 more of them with the mats on hand. Fast forward a little bit, when there were roughly 330 left to make of the original 700 in que, I canceled the remaining.
At this point I look in my inventory to discover that I only have 4 stacks of fence foundations, total. Meaning I was missing roughly 2-300 of them.
I can’t figure out how it happened. My inventory was pretty packed but it was never full. Even so, it wouldn’t have been full for long with mats being used up, and I’m not sure a full inventory blocks you from getting crafted items back anyway.
I thought maybe cancelling the remaining 330ish had caused the others to disappear, but I’ve tried replicating the process with smaller amounts to no avail.
Has anyone else noticed this happening to them? It had happened before today as well, but I always thought that maybe I wasn’t paying close enough attention and that it was my imagination… oh, and before anyone asks, they didn’t go into my hot bar or anything like that.
