Logging in today. Some parts of my base are missing. Lost stability the log says. Just upgraded my base to tier 3 yesterday.
But fixing it is not possible because the new parts won’t “clip” to the rest of the existing base. So my base stays as it is with holes in the walls and roof…
I can’t hang doors khitan door frames; maybe others. This just happens to be what I am working on now. Same issue?
I stopped replacing roves, got too costly.
Why isnt anyone responding? isnt there a communitty manager or so?
devs… PLEASE ROLLBACK server 1039 first and then go on fixing! some of us have lost all!
I’m not a dev, but I can answer that question for you, because all that information is actually available on the forums, you just need to do a bit of searching ![]()
Yes, that’s standard policy for Funcom. They do not reimburse players for in-game losses due to bugs, exploits, or any other reason at all. You can look up other topics where players asked to be reimbursed in-game and you’ll see the community managers explain that Funcom doesn’t do that.
They will sometimes roll back the server, but that’s not the same as being reimbursed.
Because those were the servers where the scheduled server maintenance by G-portal went bad, as it says in the post:
Furthermore, if you look at the dates, you will see that the rollback occurred on June 17th, whereas the update 2.4.6 was released on June 24th. One thing has nothing to do with the other.
Good answers, ty.
i didn’t notice the dates , the topic seemed the same.
Why don’t they rollback for the current situation. Any insight?
As it would seem the best answer, this situation will potentially piss off some elder players wich a large hive.
All in this vibe;
they screw up about every update sofar, letting the players take that toll so easily just isnt right.
Even for Funcom.
I’m guessing it’s because a rollback wouldn’t actually solve the current situation. When they do a rollback, they’re not rolling back the version of the game, they’re simply restoring the backup on a server. If they did that in this case, the bug would still be in the game and it would still wreck the same buildings.
Nah that issue has been around for a few months now. No doors will hang on khitan. Make your frame out of sandstone hang your khitan door than upgrade the frame to khitan for a work around.
Not related. Check 2.5 patch notes on Testlive.
Oh sorry, im not clear i think.
I will try try to refrase, as ENG isn’t my native language;
Roll back the server(s) to (a moment in time as close as the serverbackups allow) the state before the update or patch etc. wich introduced the bug was implemented.
(Wich implies restoring the players db status to that date & time.)
All would be well, complete fix?
They can’t do that, either. Let’s set aside, for the sake of the discussion, that there would be more players who would be angry about that than there are players who are angry about losing some of their builds. The problems they face are technical.
Your client version has to match the server version in order for you to be able to play. If they roll back the server version to 2.4.5 for all official servers, the 2.4.6 clients would not be able to connect to them. If they roll back the client version, too, then 2.4.5 clients would not be able to connect to 2.4.6 private servers. They cannot really control the private servers.
Sure, they could tell the private server admins to roll their servers back. Guess how well that would go, especially considering that more people play on private servers than on officials.
In the end, the only complete fix is for them to nail the bug and fix it. Frustrating though it may be, Funcom does not reimburse players for in-game losses and they tend to have bugs like this occasionally. People who can’t deal with that kind of frustration will probably end up leaving the game.
You’re asking an awful lot from a company that provides FREE online servers for you to play on. Sounds like you would be better off renting your own server so you can get the level of satisfaction and support that you’re looking for
Stage pieces are still bugged and destroy themselves, even with the changes made to recent update.
I have an unusual problem, some parts of the roof became unstable, everything I put on them disappears instantly. The middle parts have a stability of 127, the surrounding parts have a stability of 0, but still do not break.
I can fix this by replacing the columns, but everything breaks again with server restart. I believe this error occurs because the column from the foundation is touching the non-central part of the block.

Steam Version
I’ve tried both situations, with column coming from top and from bottom, still loss. Cant upload screenshots.
