Buildings stability so bugged you cant build

Iam trying to build a huge building, but its just impossible since the stability of walls/celilings and so on is so bugged that it ends up removing them, i have 100% matching sides if you split my house in two halfs, on one side i have a 80% stability celiling and other side it has 0% same with walls a square room one side has 80% other side 0% it makes no sense what so ever, and this game is mostly about building stuff and if thats not working game not working and people should get a refound.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. remove stability for buildings
  2. fix stability so it works as its supposed to,

I believe you’re probably doing something wrong, somewhere. If you want to try and troubleshoot what that might be, maybe post some pictures of your build. If you just want to let off steam, be my guest and steam away.

But the building system, while not flawless, is definitely not “so bugged you cannot build”.

The last 3 patches have caused major stability issues OR the decay rates have significantly changed and not been communicated. I added foundation surrounding 4 fish traps, less than 24 hour later -all is gone. Added foundation and stairs with landing to my elevator, next time I log in, they are gone. Added foundation with palisades, log in less than 12 hours later, all are gone. There are so many bugs with the last dungeon release and honestly, I am disheartened that there is not a LIST of issues broken since the latest dungeon release. Between heaviest first as a display being broken AGAIN - 11 months of every year- this will be broken so let’s just shut up about the inability to control code enough for this to remain fixed for more than 3 releases, to not being able to access your pet (could be server relates but on official servers - it is widespread) to being massacred by ridiculous Purge with five 3 skulls, 1 boss, and too many one skulls to count, where everything is destroyed - Oh wait! What about the inability to place doors and such - saw no warning of that but OK I can live with insufficient investigation on a new set of rules - to ZERO - ZERO thralls when the ONLY way to get a thrall is through purge to purges that slaughter all named thralls you have been able to secure. After a year, I must say you have finally driven me to the brink of the end. I get FUNCOM doesn’t care - they have already been paid, Steam doesn’t care - they have already been paid. My question to the rest of the community is ‘Is this acceptable?’ We can sell you an application for top dollar and deliver buggy code with ZERO accountability? There is no recourse if you are frustrated with paying more than double the current price of the app and spent a year dealing with bugs - if you don’t like it leave! Is that OK in your world?

I admit, I was in programming when there were not languages. When we started with punch cards. I work in IT. This slop would not be accepted any place except where the millennials are the predominant client.

I am disappointed in the lack of code control behind this application. If the struggle is the various avenues the app is available in, then limit you exposure. Don’t support the entire world of gaming under 1 umbrella. Pick your battles and at least deliver to ! - ONE environment rather than failing on every single one!

Does Funcom or steam actually care if they sell you buggy code?

So, you just want to let off steam. So be it. I have a personal answer for that.
