Can new bazar camping kit be made in inventory

Please can the camping kit be made in inventory instead of artisans bench. would seem to make more sense as it aligns with a nomadic play style! also the included rug could function as a sleeping bag?

I like RP’ing a nomad and this would be great for that style!

Good questions!
Bazaar says, that you don’t need tools to craft the tent…

I do not have a confirmed answer for you, but I remember reading that the tent was decoration rather than function and had to be made on an Artisan bench and was not a spawnpoint.

That was requested when it first came out. Funcom ignored that request. They put it in the Artisan bench. You have to be level 14 to craft the Artisan bench.

@AndyB – can we get this item fixed with the other fixes, please? Put it in our character’s inventory and not the Artisan bench.

It is something I would by if it was useful as a bedroll

Agreed, I also don’t think it could be criticised as P2W since it’s just another version of a sleeping bag for the rug, and the resources for the tent are not too much laborious to harvest compared to slapping down a 1x1 sandstone. But it would be a huge aesthetic improvement.

Agreed.

But that goose has already left the building. (Sorry, I love mixing metaphors.)

I can make a Gibbet as soon as I can get 50 iron. I can make DLC weapons without taking any knowledge of weapons. With Headhunting, dead sorcerers give me iron truncheons and rawhide bindings, which are level 30 gear.

There is already so much pay to win gear in the game, a sleeping bag skin can’t be lumped into that.

But, hey, at least the took the ability to dye armor in your bag out of the game for, “realism.”

Yes please! Although it’s not so difficult to fix a hammer and an Artisan bench to create it, i agree with the suggestion. It should be made in our own inventory with hide, sticks and twine.

I would like it to be something easily deployable too. One click and you would have a small camp, with a tent that would work as sleeping bag/wooden box and a campfire ready to use. Otherwise, when you finish placing everything, the night is gone.
Also, a stone bench isn’t exactly what I think when I have portability in mind…
