I enjoy playing a Darfari or Kushite Native warrior and i absolutely love the Tents that the Darfari, Dogs of the desert use. We see evidence that its not confined to those factions as they are routinely used as makeshift camps for NPCs. I would absolutely love if we could find those tents or even learn to make them much like the Black Hand tents. They can be low tier and provide sandstorm protection depending on the size of it. Please I’ve been hoping for a “Primitive” building theme for years and the Pictish DLC doesn’t fit that narrative as much.

Didn’t they release a little camping spot with a tent in the bazaar? I thought they did that. It’s not Dafari themed, just hides i think. I may be wrong. I wish there was a database of all the bazaar items they’ve released.
I saw the “Hunters tent” it was super expensive and it was quite frankly horrible. People on reddit said that it didnt count as shelter nor a bedroll. I of course made a reddit post complaining back when it first came of and i got alot of hate because I suggested at the very least the Crom points should be the free tiers

Many of the objects used in game that are part of the basic game have open access in the devkit. Things like the NPC tents and camps. In fact there is quite a few mods that use these assets. For this reason it is not a good idea for FC to suddenly lock them up and then sell them. They are allowed to do this. But there would definitely be some blow back and would set a precedent that would make the modding community rightfully upset.
So many of these things we’ll likely not see for sale in the bazaar. Though as buildable items in the vanilla game is definitely possible.
Basic items sold in the Bazaar like the “Hunter’s Tent” ought to be available at least by level 3 (on par with other basic items) and not require a level 14 Artisan bench to be created.
Unfortunately i am on playstation so mods are out of the question, i dint know what the devkit is or anything so it seems im out of luck. Would Funcom at some add them despite the modding community’s backlash? I mean the black hand tents used to be a fever dream and they added them, im sure they used to be a mod

If they added them for free, I doubt many would care. Taking something we’ve had access to for 5-6 years just so they could sell it would be a bit low.

Hunter’s tent does offer shelter, but not as much as one might think.
Basically need to curl up in a specific corner.
On a general note, this one would very much like if they, included in a regular update, made more tents (that are already in game assets) placeables.
The Darfari and Sepermeru tents are a long desired item on this one’s list. Much like when they added Blacksmith and Alchemist decor, this one dearly hopes to see these added.

I just saw the rest of your comment. I didnt mean releasing them in the bazaar as that is only limited and costs more then the dlcs, if they were to make a DLC specifically for these things then hell yah id buy it but i doubt they’d add it for free like when they added the black hand tents
They are long desired? I tried making this post back when Age of sorcery came out on reddit and it wasn’t very popular. And I wasn’t hoping to make this post on the forum as i was unsure if it would EVER get replies. If they are long desired like the Alchemy and blacksmith decor then ill make sure not to destroy my dreams to quickly especially since they seem to be adding more cosmetic and decorative items
The thing is that console doesn’t have access to mods and im unsure how large the pc or modding community is so the “We have access to” is only representing a small amount lf the fan base (i assume) I apologize if I misinterpreted the comment
This one has both seen threads and personally made notation of wish that these existing assets become placeables over the years.

I found a forum page suggesting this from years ago but it didnt get alot of attention and it was mostly asking for the tall darfari cages and skull torches. Also you speaking in the third person reminds me of a certain cat race from the Elder scrollls
This one’s illeisms remind them of a particularly bizarre bout of drinking and a bad joke that will likely outlive them.
But so long as at least one person is amused, it is not in vain.
The tent request has also been mentioned in numerous other threads. Conversations sometimes roam far afield or naturally flow into closely related subjects.
Perhaps it is simple evolution, perhaps it is our communal attention deficit and obsession habits.
No matter, this one finds the suggestion of more already existent in game assets being added to the craft and placeable list a worthy one. Especially tents and other temporary shelters in a game.that at least has survival elements.
