Hey guys, ive been running around the spider camp place (the one with the big boss spider, unsure of name as im not at home to check) but when im using a steel pick on the spiders for their chitin i’m barley getting any (maybe 20 every 4 spiders) is there something im doing wrong or if im using the wrong tool

you get chitin frome Scorpions.

The weird thing is ive not had this problem on my ps4, just on pc, i’ll go hunt some scorpions when i can and report back

Between the obelisk outside of Warmaker’s Sanctuary and The Unnamed City is one of the best places to hunt scorpions.

You’re actually using the wrong tool too. Use skinning knife instead it gives more chitin. Yet if you can change your attributes and place the efficient harvest will help you a lot. Not all the spiders are providing chitin the green ones never do. So aim for the black ones instead. Same goes to the locust, the green ones barely give chitin.
Scorpions like @Hiveshadow said is the “go to”. If you’re low level aim for the ones in the unnamed city, they give decent xp as well.
Yet i have to make the question, why the trouble for chitin? This armor is meh!
Ps. A tool upgrade, even the simple one, is always best on harvesting results!

Ofcurce it is. But it’s not nice that our clan mates that don’t own our bazzar pieces cannot remove the illusioned armor pieces from our thralls

The dlc way was way better.
yea i remember their was a time where you could give building pieces to people their does not have the dlc and they could use it, but they removed it, but lets us not jumb off the topic in here

I’m doing a stygian roleplay so need the chitin for the raider armour ive managed to get enough for me and my main thrall so far

The fact however that stygian medium armors are very heavy still remains. None of them is based on agility…
But they are cool looking indeed!
There for here’s my suggestion! Either fix an encumbrance armor and transmog it to this chitin medium armor either go to the sunken city and start grinding Lemurians. They drop the Lemurian armor that’s equally strength armor, a little better in amor stats and much lighter. In order to repair this set you just need to kill the witch queen and interact to her throne. Even if these pieces are epic, you can repair them just with leather and iron.

I sadly don’t have the stygian infantry armour on pc, only on console 
i’m just hoping to be able to get it back one day, hopefully really soon
