Mind you i play on an official pve server…how does one exactly go about stealing thralls?
I would hazard a guess that it’s a complicated process where you can club them over the head, tie a rope to their ankles and drag them by the feet across a cheese-grater landscape of rocks and twigs back to your base where you force them to push a grinding stone around and around for days with no breaks and no water until they finally decide you’re their new master.
But I pretty much stick to single player so I couldn’t say for sure.
Har har, i know how to knock out thralls…im referring to it saying stole. You cant take anything that isnt yours or your clans in pve. And last i knew pve or pvp you cant knock out someone elses thralls…only thralls in the wild.
Were they in a chest? Was that chest near a window…? Was the building in a state of decay…? These are some questions you should be asking yourself first.
Regardless if they were in a chest its pve so people cant access it unless it was decayed…which nothing of mine is decayed. I have determined a theory i need to test to see if its what i think it is. So if you go to someones sacrifical table and they have a thrall on it. You can use the preview box and click the button to take the thrall and for a brief second they go off the table then appear back on the table since i dont own it. However i now cant see the owners log to see if it says i stole it or not. Might be a bug.
It’s exactly that. Someone on the same server we’re on had that pop up quite a bit and he figured it out with help from a friend.
Then it would be an exploit of bug?
Maybe you should report it as a bug to fix. On the server (official PvE too), many clans leave the gates wide open to their bases, stations and chests, because nothing can be stolen. In my clan, we did not even bother putting doors, we left parts without walls as entrances lol. It sounds weird that players would be able to do anything with a sacrificial table that is not their, when they cannot do it for the other stations.
