Cannot connect to Funcom Online Services - Cannot play

When I run Conan, I get the prompt “Connecting with Funcom Live Services”. and then “Login failed! - You can play offline, but usage of the online features requires restart”. This dialog box has only an “OK” button. When I press it, I can try it again, with same results. I even get the same when trying to start “Settings”, and also when trying to run the Singleplayer mission.

Can anyone tell me please, how I get past this, and can play again?
I wouldnt mind playing offline, but want to use precious sunday time…

I got past the ‘failed to login’ error by temporarily disabling my firewall.

Didn’t need to do that playing 12 hrs ago, not sure what they did overnight.

It works again now. I disabled the WLAN, leaving only the wired connection in place.
Doesnt sound as if it would be the problem, maybe the servers just got online again.

But the game should definitively get an offline mode, which is a bit more visible, so can be enabled if needed.
