Every time i try ti build anything on ps4 take out ur hammer hit R1 it does nothing press it again it places what u wanted to build an then deletes whatever building pc or object ur dot is touching it deletes it every time u build any idea when thats gonna b fixxed

Thank u for ur reply sestus on ps4 while holding my construction hammer selected any piece you wanna build press R1 to place it nothing happens press R1 again it places the build piece youve selected but also deleted any object ir build pieces the white targeting dot is touching also noticed to that in the build menu scolling between diffrent build styles when i press L1 to move up i press it once it moves up one row the R1 i press it once nothing happens press it again it jumps two rows also ive bought a brand new controller thinking maybe it was bad on my end sadly it was not thank u for ur time an help
I am telling since it was released that the delete option is misplaced. Game lag causes this and you accidentally delete something instead of placing.
But since the last patch I noticed it also in the menu.
Not only with R1… When I sometimes press x or Square to craft one or 10 it double up my input like I press it twice.
OK as @ConanBoDk mentioned the construction hammer Easley jumps into remove mode I have several ancient ps4 controllers some are more likely to go into delete than others. My wife got me a ps5 a couple days ago have not done any building with it yet. I have found that I leave pressure on the R1 and accidently swap to remove mode with some of my ps4 controllers especially when in a hurry. @Chaos314699
