I can’t seem to find the relic fragment chests on the south part of the unnamed city. One is supposed to be in plain view in the sand, but I can’t see it. I’ve harvested all the rocks in the area where the relic is supposed to be hidden under a rock, and no dice, and I’ve climbed all over the towers in the south west corner around the wright and 2 skeletons, find nothing except a regular loot chest. Have they removed these chests from the game, or do I have a glitch?
First you have to see the message “press (whatever) to interact” , then break the stone.
If someone else took it the stone will come back in 10 minutes but the fragment in 8 hours. So your best chance getting fragments is killing bosses. @Pixelcave, do you have a video with fragment locations please?
True @Sloegin2001 but the enemies in there are no joke. Unnamed city is very well balanced, it’s very difficult to die there. For a player who starts to explore the game, Wine Cellar dungeon is not a good place!
It depends on the server settings. But yes he is on official so I won’t tell him to take on the Bosses in the City because he would be a snack to even the snake.
A little more info; a given chest has 30% chance to spawn at server start, then on the timer. So if you get on right after server restart for a given server, 3/10 will have spawned, not accounting for variance.
Yes, Sir! Here are all Fragments of Power Locations in The Unnamed City (minus the one under the rocks, we missed that one when we made the video back in the days).
When I was playing on the official servers I went fragment hunting pretty regular; you have to do to level limit. If you are finding regular loot chests you are looking in the wrong spots. There are multiple maps on line that show you were they are, even the wiki shows you as well as screen caps of just the spot. Hell I even snagged the ones behind the bosses and ran like a thief
Never ran in to any one else farming fragments, so If I didn’t find one I assumed it didn’t spawn that round.
They are easy and very well balanced. The only boss that has multiple skeleton agro is one under the obelisk. In the wine cellar the agro is huge, the visibility is low and if you start running then the agro on the minions only would be good enough even to loose a thrall.
That’s the hardest boss there, only this one, none other. If however you get a shield, even this boss is easy again. The damage you gain in unnamed city cannot be compared with the wine cellar. The skeleton minis can one shot you in wine cellar, then run back to gain your loot… For a new player? No fking way. With all do respect @Sloegin2001 suggesting to a new player to go to the wine cellar for fragments, is equal to suggest him to go to the arena champion for scraps , it’s not “the best” suggestion .
They are on a randomized timer of 12 hour cycles of I remember right the very best time is right before server reset in the early am. I clear 15 easily in 15 minutes before the reset.
thanks everyone. After I posted, I found a relic fragment in the SE corner by the skeletons in a place I’d looked at on 2 previous trips, so I figured they don’t spawn at 100%. I’ve made the rounds on one of the maps that shows the chests and I found 3-4 chests, so the 30% spawn rate seems accurate. I just have to be patient and keep checking.
