When ı look down my view is looking down but my body is there and can’t harvest animals without skinnig tool.
[PC, Singleplayer] I have been having an identical issue. When I look down it seems that I am looking down, through my own body. Also am unable to harvest anything flat against the ground with a tool. This is most noticeable when trying to harvest an animal with anything other than a skinning knife.

Yep, me too. All i see is my armor from the inside out. First person view is unplayable, imo. I prefer first person, but until they fix the view, my work-around is to play in third person. Hoping when they fix the first person view they get rid of the hands flopping aound in front of me as i move.

Having the exact same problem, can’t harvest animals or flatter rocks. I have noticed that when the problem occurs the character stops moving the head, if I look up or down in first person and then zoom out to third the models head is still facing forward. The camera moves in first peron but the head does not turn with it.
The first few times it happened the problem was resolved when I went into the Saved-folder and removed the first couple of game_backup-files, unfortunately sooner or later it reappeared, and this last time removing the backup-files does not help. Also tried reinstalling the game, but the problem persists.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980
Windows 10 64
Would love for this to be fixed.
Reported this bug since the first hotfix after update 33! Nothing have changed since!
At least now more people reporting this. Lets hope it will noticed by the devs too.
By the way if you die the bug fixes itself. It also fixes the swimming animation and missing footprint bug. But they come back when you login.
I’ve had this bug for a long time, the patch on April 19th fixed it for me but now it’s back on release. Only way to “fix” it is to suicide, and it has to be done every time I log in.
