I went and built my base laid down blocks in valley along river part of the blocks are in river some are not and I cannot place any items on the floor says that the floor is obstructed which makes no sense its floor I also get invalid placement anywhere i go inside my building.
update to this issue, I can place things on top of my house on the stone ceiling that has no walls or roof, but I can’t place things on frist floor which is big empty room.
can place things out side just not inside the house on frist floor I find it werid can place things on top of the house also ?
I also cant place anything like torches on the the sandstone walls ether there supposed to mount to walls but they cant just says invailed and view obstructed for anything and everything I can place the torches outside the building on the walls but not inside.
really cant place nothing anywhere on the floors inside the house makes no sense at all never had issue in past.
I do have another house so does my wife that is made out of sandstone and we can put stuff on floor in those two houses just not this third one.
main difference is the roof on the third house is sandstone floor not a real roof reason for that is we wanted a second floor on the house.
so, for some reason putting second story on house and using sandstone ceiling and wedges made it so we couldn’t place anything on the first floor?
tested this thery destoryed the sandstone ceiling and the issue went away.
it seems that having a sandstone ceiling blooks view of what you are trying to build making it so you can’t see placement which blocks ability to place item.
so right now, only way to correct to get around this bug is to place the sandstone floors then walls then all items you want to place then after that’s all done place the sandstone ceiling on top of the walls.
this is really dumb the ceiling should not block view of placing items.
this was never issue in past but now seems to be a bug and issue.
