Ceilings breaking after server restart

I have a build on the PvE-C server I play on, some parts have low stability and are supported by the wood support beams, but after every server restart some of the ceilings are broken.

Not all of them are doing it and using the hammer it shows the floor and walls are at 40 stability so more then enough for the ceilings to be placed and stay… its getting frustrating having to replace them every time.

If you mean the diagonal wooden support beams … if you are playing without mods … then those beams are decorative only and do not add anything to stability.
If you are talking about pillars then they should provide stability … if they are not … then ensure that you have place the beam from below UP to your ceilings so they snap to the foundation/ceiling tile below properly and not hang from the tile down as sometimes they do not not snap to the ground correctly when you build from top - to - ground … and when that happens the pillars do not provide stability

Thanks for the reply, in regards to pillars yeah worked that out ages ago, always build bottom to top any way.

In regards to the beams, they actually do add support. about 20 points to the item above them.
They do not mention this in their descriptions etc and i know the title says ‘decorative’ but they actually do provide support, this was done in a update awhile ago (cant remember which one)

I have solved 2 of the 3 roofs issues so it might not be a bug after all… just gotta work on the last room but as its empty (no one has claimed that bedroom) and its got a door so base is secure its not a high priority. but the fact that its always after a server reset is why i belive its a bug.

Funcom said they removed the stability-code part of the diagonal support beams created in the carpenters bench.
So what I suspect you are see is a false report from the repair hammer … that there is still code somewhere that reports back that it is giving stability support but in reality it is not … and upon the game rendering the building the stability calculations it gives doesn’t include the diagonal decorative beams.
But I’ll nudge @Ignasi has the diagonal decorative beams from the carpenters table been given back their stability code component? Is it intended that they once again help with stability ? (Yay if funcom fixes the exploit that made them remove the stability aspect of those beams months ago and could restore it for those who wanted to build with them.)

lets hope they are meant to once again give support, its rather silly if not and the beams should just be removed… but they are giving support right now.

Issue is that after the restart the roofs break only… NOT the walls as well which they should be to… also everything still shows it has enough support and i can build on it right away…

If it was a false report i should have to destroy the beams and re place em to get it to do it again. atleast you would think.
