Charged for Dawn of the Morninglight Collector's Edition that I didn't order

See title. I just tried to renew for 30 days membership and the billing system charged me for the collector’s edition. Anyone else recently run into this? I’ve submitted a support email so now it’s hurry up and wait. How does something like this happen on an automated system?

You playing on steam or funcom client?

It’s the standard FC client.

Patron automatically renews unless you manually cancel it on your account page or your payment method expires.

Are you sure you didn’t accidentally click on the “purchase” button in the DotM window that (still, months later) pops up every time you log in?

Either way, there’s nothing you can do but wait for Funcom support to get back to you.

Yeah, it wasn’t the nag popup that everyone gets upon login. On a side note, my patron status doesn’t automatically renew. It ends after 30 days every time even with a valid payment method.

yeah i think only steam renews it automatically for you … at least mine did despite not asking for it

All of my patron accounts (non-Steam) renew automatically. But I have one account that used to be linked to Steam that didn’t auto-renew until I contacted support about it.

They did have issues with the auto renew a while back, it got fixed as far as i know, but you should send in a ticket for that as well.

As far as the wrong payment goes, you just have to wait for the staff to get back to you:)
