Chests on Open ground disappear within 3 to 4 hours

Official Server 1808 PC

Placed two wooden boxes on open ground and a campfire. Logged out for about 3-4 hours. Came back in and chests were gone. Campfire was still there with what I left in it. Nothing in the event log. So either the event log is bugged and someone took my stuff , or the decay system is bugged.

I think this is related with the decay system for placeables, its decay timer is too short indeed, it vanishes with fish and crab traps quickly too when out of your base range.
