Hello! I run a server host on gportal. My friend that is our clan lead quit the game and I can’t really get him to log back in to pass lead to me. Is there a way to kick him from the server/if I do, will it make me clan lead? ( I am next in line rank wise.) Or will it just disband the clan and destroy all the clan’s buildings/work? Thanks! FYI I made a ticket on zendesk about it…though idk if they will be able to help me since it’s a private server? I gave them all the server/my info.
Zendesk cannot help you in this case, since they’re only responsible for official servers.
You can however change the clan leader by editing the database.
If your database isn’t too big and you want, I can do it for you. You can just connect to your server via FTP and download the game.db file from ConanSandbox\Saved on the server and zip it and either attach it here or upload it to some site and tell me which character you want it to be the leader.

Hey! Thanks for the info…had to figure out what FTP was. I downloaded filezilla to access it. Would you be able to describe where in the server files I can edit it? Would like to know for future reference/knowledge. Thanks!

You need some form of database editing software for it, that’s why I offered since I already have it.
But you can download it I guess, search for SQLite db browser.
Once you get that you can open the database with it and navigate the various tables and alter data
Oh like I said above, you have to download it to your computer first.
So stop your server, download the game.db file from the ConanSandbox\Saved folder (assuming you’re playing on the default map).
Then you need to either edit it on your computer or attach it here so I can edit it.
Finally put back the edited version overwriting the old one and start your server again.
