Co OP and share play

I am sure the answer is out there,but quick reply would help.

PS4
CO OP—Do both people have to have game. I’m leaning toward yes, but haven’t been able to find a hard yes/no.

Shate play-Does exiles support it or block it. Again, Google keeps giving useless old links with no real answers for PS4. (I know PS4 was late to the party with no early access testing)

And yes I know a dedicated server is the way to go, my friends dont want to buy game until they get a feel if they’ll like it. Once we know that, I’ll rent a personal server for us.
