Hi Devs,
Solo PC player here.
So you already know about characters falling into floors/foundations. Some of my thralls have been doing this for quite a while, since the introduction of Ch4 and now my character has done it too, only once tho but I had to ghost mode to get out.
As a pc player, I have to say I really do not like the changes to the radial wheel. It actually takes me longer to use now that I have to look for the pointer as it rotates and spins with mouse movement and make sure itâs on the correct icon before I click so itâs not an improvement for me but a hindrance. I feel this has been done to accommodate console players but there needs to be better consideration to PC players as PC functionality is obviously different to consoles in regards to the different control systems.
Could we at least get an option to turn it off and be able to use the previous method please.
The Sacred Hunt event. After increasing my day and night cycles to have more real time to go hunting, after almost 10 hrs of play I have yet to see a single werehyena. I have explored each biome at night and nothing. Is there a specific area Iâm supposed to be looking in? What is the secret to finding them? From what I have seen on various youtube vids it should be easy. But alas this is not so for me.
Thanks for the addition of category buttons in the inventory and crafting stations but there still needs to be a more definitive selection available. ie, in the blacksmithâs bench having selections for swords/axes/polearms etc would help the search greatly. Similarly in the armourerâs bench head/chest/hands/legs/feet and maybe even a secondary selection for heavy/medium/light would help players searching for specific things greatly.
With regards to the dye station, having to now put your armour piece in the actual station to dye it is a nuisance. Previously, if it was equipped to your character, you could see changes immediately. I used to just place a selection of dyes in my characterâs inventory, equip the armour piece and make changes easily till satisfied Now when I am looking for specific changes to tones and colour schemes I am constantly having to switch between the station and my character inventory. It is now a much more tedious process and time waster so I feel that this change hasnât been given proper consideration.
Also missing from the UI when interacting with chests or stations is the âGiveâ button.
PLEASE PUT IT BACK!!! So much easier to transfer multiple stacks to/from the chest/station. Now I am stuck with double clicking my mouse all the time or a lot of dragging n dropping, which again is just wasting time and effort. And itâs extra wear & tear on peoples gear ( my mouse). NOT COOL GUYS !!!
Any UI changes you make should be to enhance gameplay and NOT waste players time and effort to perform simple mundane tasks.
I hope you will take these comments into serious consideration and thanks for all your hard work.
Oh and this happy iron golem picked up some moves from the nearby dancer ![]()
