Good post, agree with most mate. The non-agro issue was introduced with the MOAP or the emergency patch released soon after ! If we have more than 6 players on our server then 90% of the NPC’s and Mobs don’t attack and 100% of tamed thralls haven’t defended for over a month now. Has completely ruined the game.
Depends on what is being crafted. DLC items have these issues. Vanilla items not. I am not sure wether khitan got fixed. The issue lies in queue being deleted after a certain set of items got crafted. (Like 10 statues. If all of them are done, rest of queue is being deleted.)
I think they are already working on that. Would you prefer all set up thralls being lost?
I guess the code about that will eighter include decay timer for thralls or how thralls placed outside of landclaim will be nuked. (I would prefer latter because to me it seems that decay is wonky.)
They do work. But follow a few rules (applies to honey things and fish traps as well):
Never clear the whole thing.
Broken stuff wont be fixed, instead you will have to replace broken pieces.
Hi Nuria, I would go for the simple fix which is perfectly doable: Delete all thralls belonging to players/clans who have no structures on the server in question.
It is not 100% as you will have some players who actually have a thrall but not structures, but you should be able to count those on one hand imo.
If you think any company is not about money than you are either retarded or delusional. Sorry, but that’s just the truth of the matter. Furthermore, the DLC was created PRIOR to their vacation so putting this out when they get back only makes sense. It gives them time to work on patches to fix bugs and things while giving you something new and shinny to play with.
Hi Oduda, I fully agree that all companies in the end are about money. But sometimes you need to throw some money through the window so that even more money can come in through the door. If you want to make money in the long run, you need to have a good reputation. If your reputation is already dented, why would you do anything that carries the risk of hurting it even more? They could have foreseen this kind of reaction imo.
I have been looking for sales statistics for both DLC’s but was unable to find any. I could always be wrong, but my guess is the second was not nearly as successful as the first, simply because there were much less active players at that moment or they are waiting for the fixes before buying any more DLC, like myself. Imo it is common sense to try to recuperate the loss in players as much as possible by stabilizing the game and fixing major bugs first, then to release any DLC.
