I’ve now downloaded Conan Exiles Enhanced, and unfortunately there are a number of new issues that have arisen:
None of the mods can be found in the list anymore, even though I’ve subscribed to them. All the buildings have disappeared. Because the mods are no longer active, storage space is limited. Many of my materials, which I couldn’t place directly into the character’s inventory, have disappeared for good. Visually, everything looks as if it’s been dipped in wax. Unfortunately, I can’t update the graphics driver to the recommended version. As a result, I can currently only select the lowest graphics settings. In single-player mode, I cannot grant myself admin rights, which, among other things, allow me to adjust the day-night cycle. A lot of things are new and take some getting used to. Is there perhaps an official tutorial on how to use these redesigned menus in the game?
All mods for UE4 need to be re-cooked (or completely re-worked in some cases) before they will work with UE5. You need to only use mods that are specifically set up for UE5. In the meantime, either start a fresh (unmodded or mostly unmodded) game, or stick with the UE4 version until the mods you want are available on UE5.
anyone knows if i place a teleporter stone, in siptah will it be part of my EL network?
what would happen if a maproom is in siptah? can we use it to go back to EL?
If you didn’t like the game(play) before, the update wouldn’t change anything about that, and nobody would have reasonably expected that.
Gameplay was changed, though. Several bugs I know of where fixed - as far as I’ve seen so far. Age of Bugfixes. It is what people wanted. And on top, there’s a surprise UE5 update - for free.
Haven’t tested that so far, but that should also work.
Both “maps” are now regions within the same technical map. It’s like the dungeons: You get there ingame via teleporter/transition, but they’re all in the same worldspace. In ghost/admin mode, you could just fly from one “map” to the other. If one could place a teleporter inside the Warmaker’s Sanctuary, it would work just as everywhere else.
Lots of bugs, NPCS spawning in meshes, weird Camera behaviours, Graphics are “better” in some areas, blurry worse with worse fps in others, pop boost has been great but will it really last?
Played for an hour. The live settlements are killing official servers. Ping is so high everything is teleporting. Can we turn this off on official servers until it’s fine tunned?
Is it still 40 players on these new servers? I have seen some private servers do well with 20 players and maintain LS…but thate legacy (@sestus2009 what other pointers do you have since it’s your server)
Yeah they are pretty filled up, and pings are way higher than normal (from what i can see, without being an expert, it seems to be related to living settlements) and it is not primetime yet.
