Usually running around just shy of 9k players to now just over 25k players is a pretty big jump.

There is no way to sort the servers to see the new FRESH servers ? Can’t even to sorth them after the date anymore…

Understood and appreciated. I’ll stay on the line for a bit due to the more transparency you all have shown. If possible, can you share if this is being vetted with the cooperation of Inflexion and will this be a completely separate project from DA porting or the next project after DA porting?

Use the filter function, limit yourself to, for example, PvE, US, and Official Servers. That should keep the list shorter. Here are the new servers again. https://www.conanexiles.com/new-fresh-start-server/

regarding live settlemets pls allow us to keep workers on their stations they are annoying randonly and never stay at their workstations

something is wrong with the npc bases on siptah they constantly making this noise and enemys dying and respawning there. 3 to 4 npc bodies laying on top of each other. maybe this lags the servers too

What have you done FC?

connected to my main server..

laggy as hell (way laggier than before)

in serpemeru there were no npcs at all

in highlands there were no animals at all

my character has lost all obelisk attuning

there is an ugly pop up with instructions whenever i see a wheel of pain with a huge ass press ‘e’ box in the middle of my screen whenever i look at something like a station , a door , a chest etc

the lighting is way off. especially at night.. all light sources r like a kid took a neon marker and drawn around fires reminds me a lot of the way colours and fires look in ios in the redwood forest).

Abient torches in different colours make ur build look like a bad xmass tree at best…

the gold inlay in stormglass dlc looks like a neon line drawn to them (looks ugly).

my armour has lost all colouring (it was painted before and i logged in wearing armour in its original colours)

the elevator glitch is back (if u exit an elevator before it touches the ground u r simply dead). also for the pvper’s if u exit an elevator that goes UP it launches u 100 meters up in the air (possibly overcoming walls)…

the game registered me back in clan after a death exiting an elevator going down after 3 mins (literally)

the hp bar looks more like 1st dragon age with really poor visibility when fighting

the scaling of npcs names is bad from distance (i own a low end pc)

new ui looks off. do not like the new pop ups that let u know the buffs and debuffs u experience (like sated) they appear too low on the screen, and all are the same colour…

new hunger, cover, thirst etc markers look like before the offcial release.

All inside our bases is way darker than it used to be…

the black ruin in the great dam is greenish now… bad looking greeninsh

was the UE5 tested? u got players feedback?can we see results of this feedback?

i am dissapointed to the level of not sure if i want to keep playing at all.

Enhanced looks great. Seriously impressive work.

That said, for anyone running a low-end setup (myself included), it actually ends up being a pretty big visual downgrade :sweat_smile:

But honestly, that’s on me, not Funcom. My hardware just can’t keep up right now.

Who even asked for this? Seriously. You know what I personally want? Stability. You know what this did? Broke everything. Tried to launch my game and was bombarded with messages about needing new drivers and broken mods before the whole thing crashed. I literally only just made this account because of how annoyed I am that you guys made this stupid update, and yes it is very stupid. When you have a game that has as much player created content as you do, large updates should only be done when necessary since you are likely to completely shut down servers running mods for days or even weeks until the mod content is updated to the newer version, or at worst, completely kill content that the creator has moved on from.

TLDR: thanks for bricking my server so you could force an unnecessary graphics update on us.

Is anyone else’s ping totally broken? I’ve been closing and opening the game for three solid hours trying to get my ping under 200, but it’s just permanently stuck at 300. This update is honestly a disaster for anyone without a high-end PC. My FPS is basically on the floor, and the game runs terribly. It feels like they completely forgot about players with average rigs. Everything about this update feels worse. the older version of the game was way better and actually playable.

You can very easily rollback to UE4/Legacy version. Plenty of people are staying on Legacy, some for now while they wait for mods to get ported to UE5 and some forever for a plethora of reasons (a mod might not be updating, they don’t like the new visuals, etc). You are NOT forced to play the new version if you do not want to, if you do not play on official servers.

Cannot find it either.

Quick feedback from single player, relatively new playthrough with few buildings, using a GTX 4070 Ti Super:

  • The game runs smooth as butter. I mean really, really smooth, better than in UE4.
  • Visuals are great, truely stunning. The game completely fine before to me, but it’s even better now.
  • The game crashed once after the update before loading my save, but that hasn’t repeated so far.
  • The many little bugfixes are very welcome.
  • The game is too dark in many places. Torches and sorcery lights don’t seem to do much; they need a strong boost.
  • The increase in stack sizes on some items is very welcome; thanks for listening to the feedback. Could have been broader and stronger, though. Why not increase stack sizes for e. g. stone to 10,000? That should reduce database sizes, reduce items/containers in the world and doesn’t seem to upset game balance in any way. Maybe keep the stack sizes for pvp related stuff like Dragonpowder Urns, but for all base resources at least, even unlimited stack sizes should work fine.
