The dagger recipe is really close to the katanas if I remember correctly. The daggers are in a room that looks like a cemeterial toomb and the katanas is across on a “balcony”. In the middle of this distance you fight a boss. Sorry I don’t remember locations and names. In Siptah as soon as you learn the recipe for just one weapon you know and the recipe to fix obsidian. The point of @Snow1 is that he has learned all the recipes and still he cannot craft anything since nothing is showing up on the forge 
. This is not the first time I listen a similar complain from an admin about it. For me Zendesk is the fastest solution he has for now.

OK thanks my main thing was to check out if it would work at all. Perhaps it is a Xbox issue in that case @Snow1 needs to make a Zendesk report for sure. Thanks everyone.

No problem at all try to help with what I can share. Hopefully 3.0 makes some positive changes for Xbox users I know you guys have had a hard time of it.
Ya when they released the south islands for siptah you can craft composite obsidian at the forges. A later patch brought the obsidian nodes. Used to have to gather it from dead enemies. Snow1, here is some pictures to show you the process and what to bring. If it still doesnt work hopefully your ticket fixes the issue.

Yeah they did change it, my character on Siptah only has grey one recipes and can make composite obsidian at the Forge of First Men.
And true, you’d need to bring the hearts to the volcano. But I wonder if you had them, could you make the weapons? Even if you can it’s probably not intended.
