Conan Exiles thought it was uninstalled

When I tried to run Conan Exiles from Steam, it initially thought it was uninstalled and told me I needed to download it again. When I said OK, it searched around and found all of the Conan Exiles files were installed, so it ran without problem, and my character is still there.

Even so, NONE of my other steam games were affected, and my SSD appears to be healthy, so I would suspect this is a Fungames problem, not a server problem or a disk failure problem.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

It is a steam issue, they have an article about it as it seems to happen with various games:
