It seems Conan exiles has a new glitch. I can open up the game but I can’t skip the cinematic screen. When cinematic is over menu option comes up but totally ignores my controller I can’t select anything I can just look at the menu. I’ve uninstalled the game twice and reinstalled it twice to no avail. And insult to injury you go to fill out your report with funcom and there’s no way to file it!
Welcome,
There is a way through Zendesk. I just don’t have the exact address for “new” reports on hand. Got to do bing instead of google/chrome to find it… blame google for such ignorance.
Kind of tricky the first time:
I usually just force-close the game and it will work the next time I start it.
Good hunting!
Wish people would quit doing this. Reinstalling used to be the magic cure all, but that day has come and gone. Uninstalls don’t seem to fix anything anymore mostly because the issue is saved in a file the reinstall does not delete. So the reinstall just uses the same bad setup/save.
First thing to do is verify your steam files.
He are playing in a ps5
This is more or less my experience too. Until the message “sign in to Playstation network” appears, we cannot avoid the intro.
So please try the workaround of @Wonka, yet i have to make the silly question and i beg your pardon for it…
Do you own PlayStation network? If you don’t, i believe that you cannot play the game even in single player anymore!
Try updating your controller
If the game is either on disc or downloaded and owned outright (rather than acquired for free as one of the PSN monthly games) the game can still be played offline without the subscription.
That having been said, you will have to trundle thru numerous failed to connect errors before you are able to get into the single player game and, of course, anything related to Funcom Live Services (Bazaar and Battle Pass items) will be unavailable.
