Conan Exiles will not launch when I attempt to play it. I’ve uninstalled and redownloaded the game three times, deleted all associated files, restarted my PC, and nothing works. I just get the same error message that a file is missing. Please advise on the issue. Thanks
could you post a screenshot of the error msg. if you can’t just yet, you can upload it somewhere and break the link e.g imgur.com -> imgur .com
I can’t upload because I’m a new user. The message reads: "Windows cannot find “C:\ Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Binaries\Win64\ConanSandbox.exe’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.”
Are you sure you have enough space? Try verifying the files. You could try disabling your antivirus if you have one while you download the game just in case it is somehow blocking the files.
I already tried verifying the files so I’ll see if i can figure out how to disable the antivirus and report back.
It just seems like there is a file missing and it won’t pull up the application.
Clear steam cache and any files in the downloads folder.
Ok thankfully uninstalling the antivirus software and revalidating the files again worked! Thank you for your help!
