Bug Description:

Conan twitches, I mean, the man, the very legend, twitches while he stands there at his tavern, as do all crafter thralls when standing at a work station; as if no dev bother to code a basic standing loop.

Let’s be clear, this twitch runs across all characters standing with their arms crossed, no dev bothered to code a basic, cross-arm standing loop, but for Conan to be twitching, that ignited this post; just freeze him?

And yes, I am wide aware this has been another perennial bug, and yes, I know most of you players don’t care; but I am not one for complacency, and will, until they are addressed, keep begging the devs to please, for the love of all that is holy and wise in this universe, fix the bugs; we don’t need more glowing tables and curtained horizontal elevators; we need the bugs fixed, particularly the many game-killing bugs that plague us.

I love this game, I live this game, yet the only way I can play it is by being the admin of my single player server and having the capacity to correct the horrible, lazy, incompetent lines of code that make bodies disappear, or end up in the air, unable to even retrieve your pertinences. But today, I am angry, again, at Conan twitching… how in the hell is this possible? I sense an utter disrespect for even the most basic of details. Can we please have at LEAST Conan not twitching? It is embarrassing when you are showing off your game to a friend whom you want to get the game and play with you, for one.

Oh god, I cannot stop laughing, that is so funny my tummy hurts from laughing. It is witty, appropriate and extremely hilarious, I can definitely see why you felt compelled to write your joke. Thanks, I needed the cheering.

That’s the same with any male character in the Cross Arms emote.

But it’s ONLY the cross arms emote. Not just every crafter thrall. It’s every character using that emote, even the playable character. The issue is the animation loop doesn’t end in the same place it starts, so it snaps back abruptly, causing the “twitch.” The bug report should be focused on the emote itself, not just Conan or crafters. It’s been like that since the game came out unfortunately. Seems like a simple fix to the emote, but alas, nothing is ever “simple” in their fixes.

This post is about at least “freezing” Conan specifically, not anything else, or something akin those lines, or… something; and, again, I simply do not care how long a bug has been in a game, I will keep hammering and pushing, as futile as it may seem. Perhaps if more people kept doing it, they would at some point address it, or not, but to me, this is simply embarrassing, and I will keep reporting these ludicrous failures.

Oh, if you read the description, you will see I posted: “…as if no dev bothered to code a basic standing loop”. I kinda get it =]

I agree. I was just narrowing it down to the root issue. And you’re right, since the improved stove thrall finally got fixed after being in the game since the beginning as well. The thrall no longer stands sideways and clips their foot into the stove. It only took like 6 years. lol…

I think the real problem is getting a volunteer with a death wish to tell Conan to switch to decaf. I mean, you KNOW how he’ll respond. :pleading_face:
