Bug Description:
I have a base way down south by the river. I started to build a new one way up north. I ended up dying, but when I respawned, I was in the spot I started when I first opened the game for the day (Not the bedroll), with all of my gear on that I started with. Half of my base was also gone, with thralls standing in the air. It hadn’t deteroated, because some new stuff I and just built was gone. I also could not open doors or gates, as I did not own anything anymore, as if the clan i made kicked me out. I play with my brother in single player co op, but he didn’t play with me today. I also wouldn’t take damage at first, I tried dying to maybe reset things. I had already closed the game out, hoping it would reset, before I got any video from it. I’m just not sure what to do, I know it’s just a game, but is it possible to fix? It makes me scared to play it. Thank you for your time, I appreciate any help, but understand these things are hard to fix.
Bug Reproduction:
I died, way away from my bed roll and base. I did take everything off, it was a planned death. I had built a second base, put everything where it needed to be, put my gear in a chest and jumped off a cliff naked. (The bracelet is no fun). It was a quicker way to get home, I admit it’s cheesy, but when I spawned in, everything was weird and wrong.
From my knowledge there’s no way to revert it on single player. Some people save their progress on cloud and load their elder savings, but i cannot help with it.
Let’s see the options we have however to make the situation less severe.
If your brother still owns the clan, he can invite you back in.
If you have the admin panel authority you can become an admin and check the box “no ownership”. This way you will have access to all your belonging but not the thralls if i remember correctly.
What troubles me however is that this bug doesn’t come only with this casualty. This bug also removes knowledge that the particular character cannot ever retrieve. The only workaround i found so far in this issue, is to summon a high lvl purge next to your base and let them kill you multiple times, kill most of your thralls if not all, practically bring you to the ground where you started and then all the knowledge returns to normal.
I know that it sounds crazy, but from my experience on Siptah once, this is what i experienced. We have this situation almost 2 years now on single player and it has been reported several times.
It sucks big time, i know fellow exile, i am really sorry.
The last workaround i can suggest is a complete restart. You can retrieve almost everything with admin panel, build what both of you lost in creative mode and continue like this never happened. So if you need help how to use the admin panel, let me know.

Whenever you and your brother decide to come out on official servers let me know. I will jump in your server to give you a hand for the 2 first weeks to settle easier.
The new purge system is very rewarding and big time fun.
Official gaming may not be “the best”, but for sure it’s more safe in these issues.
