hear me out I suggest to them Remodel the crystals to be random different colors , in additions get rid of the small crystals harvestable by hand and make it only pickax but make new nodes that are 3 X larger then normal and reduce the amount of crystal to harvest just like how Iron and stones are it need to be that big … and include 3 whack , crystal node is gone .
Reason for this change … is less rendering issue less lag and above else more accurate to what we can harvest.
The less of a resource harvestable means more value to them. Value is alway in the rarity of obtaining the item base on skill and luck
. Reason being ever since you FUNCOM decided to get rid of crouch harvesting these have been pain in the neck because we are too tall and large to harvest it. Sure we only need a couple thousand but its frustrating when you see something that barely in reach and some crystal model arent able to be harvestable at all. What do you guys think ?
Have you been to Hanuman’s Grotto? Spend some time there with a max-upgraded Black Blood pick and you won’t know what to do with all the crystal you get there
that wasnt the point @CodeMage its not about the ammount of crystal sure i can do that but what frustrate me the most is when im picking crystals and there are some that are harvestable and others that arent and the fact is there so much tiny foilage of crystal to harvest that rendering in game which is actually does more harm then good. its a simple solution of what im suggesting to help with server load and keeping player sanity check.
One thing you must have as a basic complaint in this post, is the crystals that exists in the silver mine and they are only lights. They are as big as you ask, but you cannot harvest them. So if they just give us the option to harvest this crystals, i believe that everyone will be happy here. However, your first post gives to the reader the thought that you still harvest crystals by hand, so you will have to excuse the members @drachenfeles and @CodeMage for the answer that they give you. Because they were right and helpful. I agree, Crystal farming is frustrating, so i would like to see crystals shaped like the silver mine that you can actually farm easier and faster. But i believe that farming brimstone from the depths of the jungle is worse .
No, I totally get it and I agree with that complaint. It’s just that it seemed like you were having difficulties harvesting enough crystal, so I thought I would recommend a good way to do it.
It doesn’t solve the problem of tiny crystals that can’t be harvested, but it does allow you to stop worrying about it: with the right gear in the right location, you can be as sloppy as you want and still come out with a ton of crystal
well i am on two front here … making smarter foilage to help with lag and reduce server load on spawning TINY ■■■ foilage … hence is why im asking to reduce foilage in caves by up to 50% but to increase size and make them like iron node and rock node … less is better in this case as we dont need the ability to harvest 22k of sometime and have it be wasteful that just not right and also having less thing for server to load mean free up server cpu and power having to load the foliage if you combine the foilage of like 2000 4000 foliage pieces that still … and then shrink them down you can save alot what im suggesting is benefit for everyone includeing funcom … im not asking for solution im asking them to reconsider how they are looking at the game and think does being pretty help or harm the server FPS
