Curious...What are you guys doing that

I’m curious because I rarely encounter the errors or bugs that many people report. I use a PS5 with 7 TB of storage and play Conan on Official PvP servers for 12-16 hours daily. If I were prone to these issues, I would have experienced them by now.

When browsing the forums, I notice many problems that seem to stem from user error. Some issues arise from using older generation systems—indeed, the PS4 struggles with this game, pushing its limits and leading to expected problems. Others result from corrupted installations and more with only a fraction of the complaints being actual issues with CE’s programing.

Even the bugs that Funcom has confirmed, I don’t encounter. Well, not entirely. I did have a thrall die randomly, but it doesn’t bother me. I’m constantly adding new thralls, so losing one or even 40 is not a concern for me. My routine is to build and recruit.

And I did experience the placement bug where it said my view was blocked, BUT I found a solution for that and it doesn’t affect me anymore at all.

Do you think I’m baffled because, to me, none of the issues I see reported are “game breaking” in my opinion or have gamers become just that finicky that they cry over the slightest little inconvenience? I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me.

So, I guess I’m just curious as to what you’re playing on and if that is a primary factor in issues or if people are just too sensitive. I mean, it’s coding that is created by humans. I expect there to be issues and don’t care if there are. Important ones will be fixed and others might not need attention right away. Never has an update ever screwed things up so bad that I need to cuss out Funcom or throw my playstation across the room. LOL. Some people get so mad over the DUMBEST things.

Cool people will reply, the overly sensitive will probably report this post. Then we will see where some of the issues lie. Hint, there are A LOT of cry babies.

Been there

Been there too…

I use to believe this too

Sometimes they are, it’s true!

Definitely, even ps5 does, no question about it…

And how exactly is this a client fault?

See! Now you’re talking my fellow exile…

I can totally understand your position here, i don’t give a dime too, yet others do. We have to respect what’s ruining their gaming time, isn’t it?

Yes it’s true, workarounds exist, but this doesn’t mean that bugs should not be reported and eventually get fixed…

In my twitch session now i play pve 59 attribute points on 60 lvl. Yet5i do pve not pvp, because regardless what you think, this on pvp is unacceptable…

People often come in here frustrated…
Other times people believe that if you’re insulting and create a fass your issue will be solved faster…
Sometimes it does, others it doesn’t. But i believe that priorities are difficult getting changed. Patience is my key, but i ain’t judging others easily .

Indeed, read again your topic . (joke)
And this…

Tested Beta before AoH release heavily with old PC.

Upgraded to something that will probably carry me for 5 years just fine. Running the game with the option of Cinematic is quite interesting; something that I couldn’t experience before.

Some bugs are mitigated. By and large though, the majority of the bugs still exist that I reported.

So sure, you might not see, experience or find them to be “bugs”, but anyone experiencing them - or in my case scrutinizing - they exist.

Because this game is a sandbox with many ways to play, some may feel more impacted depending on their playstyles, hardware, mode, settings, etc.,…

Beta I experienced the thralls disappearing to 0,0,0 and off map. But on live, it made no difference to me because I didn’t have any to lose. There’s an example for you ^^ But if I did? I play Officials as well with no admin rights. Now imagine yourself in those shoes if you had some pretty important stuff to lose. I dunno, like your chest full of DP suddenly losing stability while you slept.

See, two lovely and civil discussions that create a dialog to be worked with. THIS is what the forums should be. Both @stelagel and @Kikigirl I agree with your comments. Good to know.

@stelagel what PS5 are you having issues on? First gen PS5, current gen or the new ripoff over priced one? LOL.

@Kikigirl , the ONLY thing I don’t agree with in your comment is “some pretty important stuff to loose”. I mean, it’s a game. There is NOTHING that’s important to lose. Even a chest of dragon powder. LOL. Though, even I would still be like…"Whaaat the F^(&(^%(#L *CK! " LOL Still not a big deal. Again. it’s a game. Seems trivial to complain about silly came stuff like this. I mean, mention it and let them know but some people just get way too carried away.

I realize that gaming is often considered just an inconsequential hobby but to some, usually a specific game, might have large implications for them.

Whether it be the teenager that is done school for the day, the Mom or Dad having an hour to themselves, the veteran who is immobile, this might be their escape from reality. And for many in multiplayer, it could also be their social time.

Aside from the emotional ties, there’s also the financial investment. It is a product of which most have purchased and continue to support.

As such, there is an expectation of quality and stability which is not being honored.

I have lost a chest of DP due to a known bug. Jumped into clan with some friends and I didn’t warn them (I knew about it) not to put the chest on a fire bowl cauldron. We lost our chance at raiding or counter raiding that night and were wiped. Days of planning and farming down the drain. I shrugged; for the farmer it meant all their efforts were moot, for the clan, we lost not because of our choices or skill, but because the game took it from us due to poor QA. That bug was in the game for months. For many bugs, years.

Going back to losing thralls; take my above example and multiply that by years of effort. In some cases, losing thralls that are now unobtainable. Worse is that myself and many others warned and begged; Funcom then updated based on reports but wouldn’t tell us what they fixed and released those “fixes” to live knowingly, really making it even worse.

So I get what you’re saying… but players have good reason to be complaining. While being no stranger to releasing as they do, this has been demonstrable especially since the Ages. With their lack of communication or let alone, clear communication, becoming apparent to many, it makes it even worse. Thankfully there’s been some improvement with communication recently. Even then, it is still fragmented, without clarity, consistency.

The digital version, i bought it about 18 months ago, i am not sure, maybe more. My capacity is not Terra, but i am ok with it. I have only Conan and Elder scrolls online installed.
I play on multiple servers, create often new sessions, and test my skills on speed running.
My console has no previous data and i always delete okd sessions.

Yeah see, here is a major flaw with your whole question. Conan Exiles was made for PS4. Hell, the PS5 was not even out when Conan Exiles launched. So to claim that you must have a specific version of the PS5 in order to run Conan Exiles or “your doing it wrong and it’s all YOUR fault” is frankly garbage. You are, effectively, poisoning the well against all other PlayStation users for not using the “correct” version. For a game that was made to be played on the PS4 ffs.

I can go on to many of your other claims, but I’ll just leave it at this.

There are plenty of bugs that I personally have not encountered. Does that mean they do not, or have not, existed? That is utterly absurd! Just because I was not hit with the negative crom coin bug that a multitude of people were hit with, and banned for, does not mean it did not exist. IT VERY MUCH DID EXIST! And for all of those people who were incorrectly banned, yes that was pretty much the definition of game breaking because they quite literally COULD NOT PLAY THE GAME. And there in lies the issue with many of the bugs in this game, and why so many of them are difficult to correct as quickly as a lot of people would like them to be. They do not affect everyone, thus they are not nearly as simply to just reproduce on a whim and see exactly what is causing them. So lucky you, you have avoided a bunch of bugs, or you simply were not wise enough to even notice them. Guess what? No one cares because that does nothing to help fix the issues at hand. And your condescending attitude certainly does not either.
