Deleted action wheel items/armor after crash report

Bug Description:

Since latest patch suddenly experience ~2 crashes p/hour. However recent crash deleted all my characters armor that he wore, the items in the action wheel but not the items in inventory. As the crash occured just outside my base, my non-crafting thralls still have their armor but lost all their inventory (living settlements disabled).

Edit: My noob-river thrall Enika of Cimmeria appearently turned from female to a male character. Just noticed it after recrafting my tools and doing a boss fight

Edit 2: also all my saddles have been deleted from the 4 mounts I had in front of the base

Bug Reproduction:

  1. Playing for a while 2. Was AFK for 2 minutes 3. Wanted to start moving, total game crash (no freeze). Restarted game, items still lost.

My post wasn’t really meant as a “fix my issue”, just doing my due diligence as I saw another post with the similar issue. Just wanted to make sure I put in my report to quantify a potential common bug. As for gear lost, I got a new Momentum mace from a boss fight which got deleted out of my thralls inventory. Also recrafted my lost gear, weapons and tools. The inventories of my other non-crafting thralls only contained stone weapons, so nothing special.

Only thing left to do is find a new name for my female, now male thrall.

I guessing has longish blonde gray hair. I wonder what the would happen if you pulled your bracelet. It fixes some of my online problems. @GiantDutchViking

Thanks for the advice, didn’t solve the issues sadly but appreciate trying to think along.

I mean, the whole female to male thrall conversion was kinda funny. Just wish the game would stop constantly crashing causing me to and lose items from thrall inventory and losing a lot of progression.

It almost feels like the auto-saving mechanic is having an off day as a crash will sent me back like an hour or more, instead of just a small time frame just before the crash.

There isn’t a way for me to trigger the auto-save feature that you know of? For example in Ark you had a command, even available for console, where you could trigger a ‘save world’. Then crashes wouldn’t feel so demotivating as I would only lose a bit of progress.

I talked to a friend yesterday he came up with a way to make changes but not having played offline in years didn’t make sense to me but obviously it can be done. When I talk to him again hopefully I can get him to message it so I can screen shot :relieved_face: @GiantDutchViking
