We now have the possibility to add taverns more complex than ever before. It is not much work to add a chest with pvp settings that has a “CAREFUL, EVERYONE WILL BE ABLE TO LOOT THIS CHEST” -label so even new players won’t place them by accident.
A chest, closet, keg, whatever would be amazing that has social settings so we can make up a trading system for taverns (yes, theft included) that is easy for you to implement and adds a lot of possibilties for us players.
Good question. But I am playing on official ones and sadly, that is out of my control. I just wish we had more ineraction that is based on pve (or simple trading).
That option won’t take much to implement and I would be grateful if they’d consider that.
Its one of those things that would need a heavy heavy information campaign. Because the default state of any container would be unlocked. People not used to it tend to forget to lock placed storage.
I also don’t remember what happens if you enable it after a server has been running. I don’t remember if previously placed storage will be locked or unlocked. It would be chaos if they became unlocked. Would give people a good reason to fight, that’s for sure.
I get your point, but you just need to create a certain chest with a warning text and the specific setting to be lootable. No missunderstanding because it’s a new item that ppl didn’t use before.
There is a need. It’s on official servers and I can’t demand of them to change a whole setting bc of my personal (or at least the need of some ppl) preferences for RP or tavern stuff.
The item can be easily created, just a copy-paste option of a chest with the said option. That’s all i ask for regarding that ^^
For tavern gameplay. I like to create maprooms / taverns in areas that are remote or in need of a obelisk stone option.
And theft etc. is totally fine. That’s a risk and even matching the whole gameplay. It’s just about adding a thing, that will help ppl on pve and pve-c servers to interact with others.
