However, if one were to entertain it for a moment, in reference to your question: You use the term “Nerfed” and appear to lack the definition behind the question for it to make sense.
Nerf
cause to be weak or ineffective.
(of a video game developer) reduce the power of (a character, weapon, etc.) in a new instalment or update of a video game.
In light of this
2) “The game” is not more difficult and therefore “The game” has not been nerfed by your definition of it being more difficult. This however contradicts the term “Nerf” in the context given in your question, As per its defined definition.
In terms of distillates gained via the higher Elite 10+ tiers introduced and on a time to level basis, makes this part of “The game” easier to level. The game itself has not been “Nerfed” via your context.
In this case, “Has the game been buffed” is the proper line of questioning, “Buff” Is the correct term you seek and would advise you to amend the question if you were to further seek answers from Funco.
Our Agents have had no modifications neither out in the field nor in the Agent User Interface and success rates despite the % are RNG of a completion or not.
Unlucky RNG does not constitute a reason to think any modifications have taken place, this portion of the question lacks evidence.
We can hereby ascertain that the initial opening remark is the only true comment and thus answers the entirety of the questions in it’s truest sense by agreeing with itself before commencing the questions.
Anything after is invalid and void, lacking evidence or proper definition and unable to yield proper, coherent responses to the questions posed, without proper definition to the terms.
We hope this helps, and the department thanks you for your query.

Then explain why with 800 item rating and 1600 defense a mob just one hit me in a S&P scenario at elite 6? Why I have to use my specials and all my ammo and still not take down a mob I used to be able to kill easily. Splitting hairs over terminology is pathetic deflection. You made the game more difficult as a delaying tactic because you have no new content for two years, a ploy used and denied by game companies since online gaming began.
This is standard procedure, deflect, try to deny changes made the game more difficult and try and make the person who points this out look the fool who doesn’t know what they are talking about. But they can’t BS me, I’m 70 years old, have been in the computer industry since the PC came out and online games were MUDDs in DOS on arpanet. I’ve seen every dodge and denial in the face of facts. Re-balancing is just an industry term they use to avoid saying they made the game more difficult for lack of new content. I’ve played this scenario a dozen times.
I have to agree with the OP here. After the rebalance I had to lower my max difficulty in solo play activities – with approximately 4 levels on each one. I have tried different solutions in regards to build setup, but no matter what I try, the max limit for me is lowered.
This could of course be some mistake I do in the build, a specific skill or passive I don’t use. In which case the problem is on my side. Or it could be that some weapon combos have had a negative effect after the rebalance.
The rebalance happened in September. The OP claims that they’ve been playing the same content every day for the past year and the game just recently suddenly got a lot harder, and somehow they’re the only one who noticed it.
It happened when the Christmas event was removed. The “rebalance” made the game more difficult by limiting the dungeons, S&P scenario and dark Agatha to one a day and no accumulation of keys. Nothing was rebalanced, it just made leveling gear more difficult. So that was done out front, further changes were made, it would appear, that were never announced.
Uh. The rebalance patch made dungeons, scenarios and lairs more accessible by removing the cost to open the regular loot chests. Patron chests (with daily refills for patrons) were added on top of the previously existing loot chests. Dark Agartha was always limited to once per day.
You are not limited to only one Dungeons and S&P per day. If you are one of them paying customers, you only got one Patron chest from a dungeon, and one more from Scenario per day. But you can get unlimited amount of normal chests. As many as you want, gearing actually faster since distillates from higher level content are larger. The content was made harder though during rebalance, and that includes Rogue Agent mission which I think you mentioned. Also your build might need to be adjusted accordingly. Suggest you look into getting elemental offhand and using Living Flame with its passive in solo (Rogue Agent) and Scenario content.
I do not believe there were any changes after Krampusnacht event concluded. Personally, I didn’t see any changes at all to daily activities since the big rebalance patch.
The patron chests have Pure Anima pots, Vanity reward bags and distillate shifters. So unless you want a pile of potions and vanity items in your dressing room and a pile of shifters you cant use cos you wont open the regular chests to shift them - then you have a pile of junk from patron reward chests.
I’m a patron and i think the patron rewards are literally pointless fluff - the shifters are nice, but you can buy the anima pots anyway and the vanity rewards are just - well, vanity.
The regular chests you think are crap are unlimited, you can open as many as you want - previously they were capped with keys per day (which didn’t stack but were still able to be bought)
I welcome this change, and TBH it should have been like that from the start.
With the introduction of higher tiers the loot scales and distillates are bigger, therefore making the levelling of items process much, much quicker. Their are new talismans to be gained from the higher tiers of dungeons. But the distillates being larger makes what once was a tedious long drawn out process, now much easier and shorter.
Weapons have been altered you might want to check your weapons tooltips and perhaps your abilities and passives. The elemental Living flame makes DA and the faction missions ridiculously easy (Its a living person type pet that taunts the mobs so the mob literally doesn’t hit you and you can heal it - which i think is silly tbh because it somewhat negates the meaning of “solo content” IMO and wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if a nerf were to happen on the living flame at some point since it also renders two tanks in NYR E5 not necessary)
Scenarios, couldn’t really tell you about, i use hammer/shotgun and haven’t really noticed much difference in what i could run before to what i can now.
All in all the game itself hasn’t been nerfed or buffed, certain aspects have changed and you will have to change with them and adapt a little. People are usually very forthcoming with advices in #Sanctuary or in Agartha General chats.
I didn’t play as soon as the rebalance happened, i was playing another game. But when i returned - i played a short time and had jumped massively in my item power, where as previously it would have taken me months upon months to reach that far.
Are you sure you have not forgotten to repair your anima? This can literally cause you to be weaker.
Maybe your gear is glitched? Try taking all your talismans and weapons off one at a time and putting them back on (NOT using the gear manager, but physically dragging them off into your inventory and then back). This is a thing that can happen (in fact just saw it in the raid today).
Agent missions difficulty can vary wildly even at tier 3 depending on the mission, its stat requirements, and what agent you are trying to send.
To sum up, there has been no in game change that affects difficulty, but there are certainly reasons (a few listed above) that things could feel that way to an individual character.
In case of S&P they got buffed. Since if you are capable enough you can get a blue chest every time. And blue chests giving 1 elite higher. Dungeons and go now higher (since previously e10 was max and now e17).
OD I think got reshuffled. Biggest buff probably is to Lairs. Being able to run all lairs as f2p all three days or 3 times a day is a hilarious amount of chests and like I hope noone argues that lairs of all things got more difficult. The content that gets roflstomped the hardest.
Thanks I’ll try the removing all my gears and putting it back on, I always Keep my anima maxed. I have 9 agents at level 50, I usually use 2 of them for two missions and the lower agents to keep the supplies up. I’ve been playing this game for a few years, I know how wildly the missions for agents vary.
I haven’t heard such insane gibberish from a no-lifer with delusions of superiority, authority, knowledge and importance in a long time. Well done AND entertaining, Classic. Bravo.
