Disable living settlements

So there’s a box you can check in the admin to disable living settlements … seems to me the safest thing to do … personally I say just yank it out … but the damage is done now …

Not sure what it does entirely but ya I think they won’t wander around

Living settlements works for me. I just prepped for like everything does so many whiners about the living. Settlements works fine and it’s their new expansion. It’s not going away.

i love the settlement and cannot wait to see the others chapters and see what they adding to it

i think its a good idea they maked so servers can turn it on and off if they want it

  Currently, there are no gameplay benefits or consequences associated with thrall needs. This is something we have built into the system for potential use later, but for now, we didn’t want to punish players with a new responsibility that doesn’t provide meaningful rewards.

• The number of placed chairs, campfires, and beds needs to equal to the number of workers at the base?
  Thralls will share everything including beds, if there are not enough things to do available, thralls will just do nothing. If they end up using your bed it won’t take your spawn point away.

If it did, people wouldn’t be losing thralls. You shouldn’t have to “prepare” because it’s specifically noted that there should be no consequences for not fulfilling needs. That’s not the case.

You may have not had issues, which is great, but that does not mean it is working as intended.

I know right people moaning about losing thralls they spent hours and hours looking for they should just be thankful that your games fine

If it did, people wouldn’t be losing thralls. You shouldn’t have to “prepare” because it’s specifically noted that there should be no consequences for not fulfilling needs. That’s not the case.

I knew what was coming, prepped, still lost half a dozen artisans before the server went down for a day. But I prepped for what I experienced on the beta server, what went live wasn’t what was on the beta server.

You all knew it was coming and you still can’t get it past that this is not going away. Just gonna have to live with it and majority aren’t having problems. I’ve have a lot over 300 people that I know that are having no problems.

They could, easily just turn it off on the public servers till it’s fixed.

We all lost our bartenders, but we moved past it

And quite a large number of players lost very rare thralls that can’t be gotten in game any more. Not so easy to move past.

Oh, you be the rare thralls that people cheated to get and tried to hold onto to and now they’re getting caught for cheating and that’s why they don’t have them anymore

I was playing when there were thralls you could only get in purges. Those purges are over. Highly unlikely they will ever be in game again. So just how is that cheating?

Or are you unaware of some of the rare thralls no longer available in game?

NOTE: Yes, I’m playing devils advocate here, you all know how I feel about hoarders and collections.

People losed the thralls are the people dont know how to read or how to watch youtubers it was talked many times we still have in it forum aleast 3 threads talking to let the thralls in chests.

Theres no more “rare crafter thralls”
since they all do the same thing and if someone lose one crafter and is crying he shall not play it game in official he shall move to single player and respawn using admin crafters are VERY EASY to get still some crafters have fixed respawn like the fisherman cooker in sepemeru and the torturer in mounds of dead armorers and weaponsmiths are easy to get just find a camp kill they until it spawn the t4 or make purge and get it easy too people can still do purges lvl 10 afk in volcano.
Yes problems happen funcom got advise many times about the bugs in the live test but people too got advised about it too.

I have every thrall from old purges and some crafters from Siptah if i lose any i will no care since they all do the same thing and now the only rare thing about they are the visual and it got removed too since you can wear armors in thralls crafters now.

Im much more worried about losing the
Drowned Vault Armors knowledge and armors since i play in exile and cant learn or get it again.
