The dungeon that is under water… Is VERY H.P. Lovecraft-ian. It has SO much potential as to what could be done with it.
I think it would be awesome to have a few armor sets… Weapons… Architectural pieces… etc… Along the thematic lines… And possibly some new pet skins(cosmic horror?)
There is a steel trident and the spear from the dungeon is also a trident
O M L YES
Right now I am way into the sea-horror theme on Conan. The sword from this dungeon is so perfect. Trying rn to use it with a sea-themed armour set (if u dye the Derketo skirt in squid colours they look like tentacles!). The wheel shield is PERFECT and I reckon that’s the theme they should go for if they add armours. Those items will have been under or near salty water for many years, I want to see the pain each item has endured.
Though, Cthulhu fans!:
If you collect 100 pearls from that dungeon you can trade them with a guy at Flotsam for a famous squid styled shield. It’s not quite as cool as it sounds but the big squiddy dude of unimaginable terror far beyond human comprehension is still lingering in its design.
I’d be way into a sea-themed expansion. Grotty sea-batten wooden pieces and old ‘seen a thousand years’ fishery village themes. There’s plenty of sea-horrors in game now which, aesthetically, they can be focused around. The dirty light blue and scummy purple colours in some of the weapons are soooo nice we need more of that for sure.
They already have the Innsmouth fish folk style done perfectly with those blue guys, it’s not a recreation of Innsmouth people, but their own uncanny-valley design. so I know they can make good uncanny valley… perhaps need to focus more on cosmic-horror and the unintelligible mass rather than just using already “scary” characteristics.
All in all I can’t wait to have my real sea foam princess and get her a DLC.
