If they ever work out NPC climbing (and they really need to) The downside to your horned tank would be mobility. Forget climbing a cliff, you wont be squeezing through any narrow passes with something that big. Then there is the fuel mileage.
It really depends on if it’s fun for everyone. We’ll see how it works out. I just don’t want a Vathis with throwing axes in disguise when it comes to pets and PVP. It’s alright to utilize thralls even in PVP combat but the focus should be on player’s skill vs. player’s skill. I know that some people like to see ranged combat, thrall combat, everything that makes them not have to fight themselves vs. another player in melee combat but I don’t appreciate that much. As I’ve seen before with the old change of sheathing your weapon while sprinting it doesn’t feel right and will likely make people stop fighting and start raiding/destroying/griefing.
