I’m trying to get the achievement for days and, everytime I try to reach Janos Dragosani, the door is closed. Yes, I’m within the time limite and no, I didn’t triggered any alarms before reaching the last room. This issue seems to be up for, at least, 5 years. See the comments in http://disq.us/p/g2fcum
It doesn’t close according to the time limit, only for triggering the traps (laser fences or seen by cameras)

Not sure if you need to interact with the computer once or some such? … Been quite a while since i got this achivo on main.

you use the computer after defeating Janos and picking up the side mission. If the door is already closed then you only have the options about the nursery to pick.
Yeah okay. If you are really within time limit and don’t trigger anything, then i dunno why it would be closed then. I have yet to have it closed when it shouldn’t be i think.
Are you completing the mission each time you try? Because if you’re just resetting the instance, I don’t think it reopens that door.

In my experience, it’s not just outright alarms that close the door. Getting tagged by the security cameras will close it, even if you manage to hide before the alarms go off.

I was able to do it a few weeks ago (haven’t run it since). And I could have sworn I was over the time limit, but since the door was open, I just got in and kicked his butt 
-getting even targetted by a cam will count as trap
-not finishing the mission after you failed (door closed) and simply re-entering doesn’t work. You only get one try per run
-afaik opening the doors in the correct order is also counting in. This is no more than a guess from my end however, since I could be mixing this up with a requirement from the old game
If it still happens to you despite all that, I honestly don’t know why. All I can say is, that it works.

In my experience, it’s not just outright alarms that close the door. Getting tagged by the security cameras will close it, even if you manage to hide before the alarms go off.
You can get targetted (the white/yellow dashed line) by cams. If you run fast enough, you can get tagged and run around the corner to get the EMP Pulse without having to jump the laser grid. This video is from TSW, but the running part still works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mr1qeFLV2kg

Haven’t tried any other order, but it helps with the time, so it’s the best pratice.
The bug I was encountering was in looking on the computer before entering the room to Janos. I tried once looking at the computer first and the door, that was open, closed with that strange granulated-fade transition. On another try, I went right into chamber and looked at the computer later. The door kept open and I got the achievement. Tried a third time to confirm the computer related issue on that first try, but wasn’t able to replicate it. Will do some further testing.
