Dying to sandstorm in full shelter

Died twice inside now using rough timber building pieces, and offline which lost all my gear as well.

Any fix for this?

We are on newbie river sandstone base the storm passes through the majority of our base have dancer’s scattered around but best bet sleep with the sandstorm mask others have mentioned this. Funcom can’t do anything for you. @Xaia

Same is happening to me. Base with no missing ceiling or wall pieces, shelter icon on the left is full yet still taking damage in my base.

Dying inside your own base while offline to the sandstorm is terrible. This needs to be fixed ASAP!

If the server you are playing on is PVE, then bodies staying in world on logout should be off. It mitigates shelter issues on logout, and improves server performance drastically.

Welcome to the Forum. This has been going on for a while. Alot of old timers remove their valuable gear and put in a chest before logging off. I don’t recently but it is extra protection.

Try doing what sestus2009 suggested and wear your sandstorm mask while off line.

I totally agree. Now we just have to convince the official servers to do that. :grin:

Yes hide under your desk for radiation protection. No wonder we survived to play Fallout. @LostBrythunian

Back in my day we were told not to sleep with gas masks on. You may actually asphyxiate to death because the mask limits breathing.
