Is it just me or are the elephants thinking that everything is flat ground? I’m seeing elephants basically walk on air while they are on a slope. They do not seem to tilt to conform to the land, but are in a perma-horizontal state.
and that is just when I happened to have the notion to go ahead and get a screen grab. It’s way worse than this picture shows. When fighting them on a hill, I literally have moments when I am under foot.
Funny you mention them climbing just about anything… while I was building that structure in the background, those elephants routinely walked up onto my first level. No stairs, just moved from the ground and up/over the raised foundations onto the platform. I know these guys are big, but c’mon
Edit: What’s annoying about them being able to climb the palisades, is they stick their trunks/tusks and sometimes parts of their heads through my walls, which aggro’s my thralls/pets that are inside. If the palisades would just kill them, it’d be no big deal. Or, if they wouldn’t clip through buildings, that would be nice too. lol.

This happens commonly in many video games. If any part of them touches the ground, it considers that flat ground and allows them to stand. It just looks particularly bad in Conan because it’s such a poor assumption.
