Enemy Camp Archers overtuned

I’m not sure if this has been noted yet, but ever since the Enhanced update enemy archers are actually completely overtuned no matter how much armour you have, or even what kind of archer th enemy is. All the way from the exiles to votaries, the archers are doing insane damage per shot.

I can get past them having good accuracy now, but as it stands unless multiple archers are dealt with insanely fast, its usually a death sentence for players.

I don’t know if archers were buffed in previous updates and this was intended but its funny to notice the disparity between 2018 archers and the ones today.

On a side note, why do the enemies with explosive jars have eagle eyes and unlimited jars? They end up killing every npc before long in camps making it incredibly difficult to try and get thralls in a camp with a jar thrower.

I’m actually enjoying the challenge of dealing with the archers, especially since they were such a non-threat in Legacy.

I don’t know if I would say they are OVER tuned. I would say they have become far more of a noticeable threat than previously, as in you actually notice they exist now as before you pretty much said “oh and archer, how cute”. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Only if you allow them to build up their powershot without breaking line of sight. :wink:

Well THAT is a huge time period to jump between when comparing them. :face_with_raised_eyebrow: I would say there have been a plethora of changed in between those two points in time.

I wonder if its a server issue, they almost never hit me. Is it just npcs? Or thralls as well?

The same pain with bow in PvP.

With the best bow + arrows you can 2 shot people in heavy armor.
