The duration of the buff received by entertainers wears off just before being refreshed. This removes corruption, but doesn’t stay on long enough for the regeneration effect to kick in. This usually happens when a player dies and spawns in their home. All entertainers are loaded at the same time, and all of their auras/buffs are synchronized. You revive at your bed with 50%, see the buff being applied, then see the buff being removed a moment before it starts again, seldom persistent enough for regeneration to kick in. On the other hand, if you are outside rendering range of your base and walk within rendering range, the different entertainers are loaded at different times and their buffs overlap, refreshing each ohter and granting regeneration.
The solution is simple. Increase the duration of the entertainers’ buffs by 10%. It’s very short to begin with, and lengthening it by 10% would have the only effect of ensuring that the buff is refreshed rather than wearing off and being reapplied.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Die a distance from your base and choose to respawn in your base in your bed.
- Watch as an entertainer’s buff is applied, removed, reapplied, removed, reapplied, with regeneration never kicking in.
- Travel a distance away from base so that it’s no longer rendered.
- Walk back to base and see that the different buffs are refreshing each other and you get a regeneration boost from the effect.
