Entertainer thralls playing music

Thought it would be cool if there would be an option to put an entertainer thrall stationed at an musical instrument. This way you can be greeted by some fine musical sounds as you come back to your base.

There are mod(s?) for something similar to this. I think it greatly enhances the atmosphere and appeal that people are going for with their designs. Plus a change up of music variety is always a plus.

It is already in the Dev Kit to have a Musician thrall. Suggestion: Thrall musicians and placeable food! Personally, I think it would be an excellent addition to an AI Overhaul for NPC's, and would greatly help the atmosphere. I asked about this on stream about a month ago and they replied that they needed to work on music for it to be implemented.

I have seen other games use an MML Music program that allowed players to write their own songs to be used on in game instruments. While not necessary, it would definitely be a nice system to go with so that modders could easily edit/add in music.

Neat. Though a couple of icons doesn’t mean they are in the dev kit (unlike mounts. Sigh, there is a pretty mount mammoth just sitting there…all alone). It might be a sign of things to come. The special arrows have been in the dev kit (though not the final release ones of course) for a while now.

Well, that too ha ha. Signs of things to come, and them talking about it in the dev stream. Sounds like evidence to me!

I mean we have drums and other random instruments that won’t play themselves :smiley: it’s be cool to have your base sound like that Dafari Summoning Place

Already it would be necessary that the female dancers are more pretty, that when she’s called “the luscious / pulpy”, she is really luscious / pulpy !

And also it would be necessary that they can dance other dances, like that of the snake. Because, apart from a single dance, of the 3 they know, only one is just acceptable (passable) !

Then, yes, why not music ?
