Exiles Wandering Spawn

So, I noticed on the CE wiki page, there are now wandering exiles that spawn. When did this happen? I couldn’t find an info on YouTube. And on one can be looked at Spawns 2-6 can’t be looked at yet, and 7 in coming.

Any help on this would be nice (like, where are the other spawn locations).

I have noticed a couple along the river Named thralls but not that great I know that there are at least two

I am wondering if this might be some of the random T4 spawns, such as the one further east of The Dregs.

I would honestly like to see some more T4, in addition to random Slaver and Bandit spawns dotted around the map. Outside of PvP mode, the roads just dont have that air of danger about them which such a dog-eat-dog land should.

-East of Dregs (small island with a lone Croc) Spawn point there (they often lose to the Croc)

  • Abit more east, is another long Croc. Another spawn.

  • East (south side( of Bridge, Along shore is another spot.

  • South of Marrowmens Hieghts (On Shore) Is Another spot) Abit west towards Croc)

  • The Sentinals, North Shore, abit around cliffs.

  • Cannibels rest, Abit to right, on Shore.

  • Scavngers Birth to East along Northern Shore. Is another spot, (seen it on hills away from shore, could be another spot)

I’ve seen them pop up on few of Islands which could be spawn spots…or just how it works.

Seen a few on Northern said of river, but more inland, they may have roamed up that way.

I would say… Doing 2 1/2 full circles looking for Blue Eyes. I will see one of them spawn.

Hey there,

I’ve asked @Jim1 if he wants to continue working on this wiki project. He has several more things he’s got his hands dirty in, so it’ll take some time for the info to be present if he does.

All Exile Wanderer Spawns can be found on the Exiles page (may be incomplete).

Note, It’s possible the Map page won’t update automaticly once they’re done adding the spawns.

I’d like to note that these spawns seem bugged on single player; they aren’t spawning in on a game I played last week for a dozen or so hours.

They are not all listed on the wiki but this one is, It’s just tough to find unless you know how to search for it. https://conanexiles.gamepedia.com/Exiles_Wanderer_Spawn_01

This subject comes up right regular and the same answer appears. Someone spends an hour or so instaspawning and killing until that <1% chance fellow shows up. Then that someone takes a screenshot and posts it.

While I have agreed to ‘look into it’, there are 7 projects in front of it and I’m a volunteer.

Instead of posting what you can’t find, why not document what you did find on the wiki? It’s really simple to do and you are welcome to contact anyone on the fan-based CE discord for help.

Not picking on anyone, but the typical respawn time is 15 minutes. In 20 hours of camping one spot, that’s 80 chances for a <1% probability. It’s not multiplication, it’s statistics.
The chance of getting that one particular thrall to spawn is:
1-(1-spawnchance)^numberoftries
So, say we can run 5 camps for 20 hours on a 0.5% spawn chance. That becomes
1-(1-0.005)^400=86% chance to find that exact thrall.
During that time, you probably hit 4 or 5 other named thralls. Did you get a chance to report those?

I know exactly where the named fighters spawn.

  1. One is outside of the Broken Aqueduct, just to the west, on a little archepelago.
  2. Another further up river, near the shaleback nest on the north side of noob river.
  3. Travelling further, there’s another spawn on the rocky incline that leads up to Spider Town.
  4. Further east, there is another named exile spawn just south of Gallaman’s Tomb.
  5. Another guaranteed spawn just east of Cannibal’s Rest.
  6. On Neeb’s Island, just past the arch near the small lake, there is a guaranteed named fighter spawn.

I can go on, if you like.

Lan, if you choose to go on, please include the coordinates and paste them with the name of the thrall.

To do so:
Hold right-control + right-alt + right-shift and tap L.
That brings up this window:

Use the right-control key to copy, flip over (again, right-alt + tab) to paste it into some convenient list.
Paste the list here and when I get a chance, I’ll take a look.

The reason I’m emphasizing right is that you don’t want to backflip off a cliff or kick something

Your general locations are pretty good, but hunting by landmark is not my strong suit :frowning:

Using this method also populates the software cell exactly when I arrive and gets me an exact spawn point, not just where the thrall was seen, since a lot are wanderers.

Thanks, in advance !

I can work on it. It’s much harder without them spawning in single player, though.

The thralls are the skull Exile fighters - the spawn points are constant, and always have a named thrall there, but they do have a rotation between six or eight different named ones.

Yes, I’m familiar with quite a few of them, mostly from the map link. We used to designate those spots as 100% spawn chance as a category, then someone came along and said the cat did not fit because the spawns had different names. Sigh.

Although the category is not applied to most of those now, we could probably pull a list of all the names that spawn in each particular spot, but it would be directly from the wiki. A change to the devkit (read:game files) disabled our ability to get those spawns through C++. Again, sigh, I mean a looong sigh.

If you and perhaps others can get the coords, I can check all of them on a dedicated server, but I don’t do officials, sorry.

Usually, those that wander (and they wander quite far) are noted on the page itself. They have been ingame as long as I have, but the interesting ones I tracked back to their origin, or close to it.

Gimme coords ! I will kill with malice aforethought :fire:

jim

Edited PS: They do not have to be spawn point coords, just close enough for me to be able to see them.

I’ve got only one spawn working in my SP - number 1 spawn with a foal nearby. I’ve met one more human micro-boss fighting croc, but it was very-very long ago. Now I can find one and only spawn all along the Newbie river till Jungle.

That one is my favorite. The way I use it is I walk in, find a crocodile but no Exile, kill the crocodile, go away, get back and find that the Exile has spawned.

The crocodile may kill the Exile if you let them fight. That’s why it’s nice that the crocodile spawns before the Exile.

That sounds like the one on the west side of Shattered Bridge, in between bridge and Dregs.

Yes, this one I think. But croc sits there all alone for a very long time, maybe for some months or even a year.
